“Woman is the molder. She is the molder of time, space, and of humanity: the human of tomorrow – the child; the human of today – the spouse; and the human of yesterday – the ancestors. The entire society, in theory and reality, is based on the spirit of woman.”

Tejinder Kaur  is a musician and teacher of Kundalini Yoga as taught by the Siri Singh Sahib Yogi Bhajan. Her love of kirtan began in childhood, before her hands could even stretch between the keys of her harmonium. Her early kirtan is enshrined in the album Songs of the Soul Bride.  She is a trained classical pianist who now devotes her time to playing kirtan with her husband, the tabla player Siri Chand Singh. More recently Tejinder Kaur has been featured on the blues album Freedom, where she sings alongside her father-in-law Awtar Singh. Freedom  also features one of her original compositions, "Peace Prayer Day", a prayer for peace within every soul, family, and the whole world. Tejinder Kaur is a medical doctor and loving mother to her baby boy.
